IS HUSTLE CULTURE, QUICKLY GETTING YOU NOWHERE... FAST? PC. 457 EARNEST MANN’S - ADVANCED PERCEPTION EP.14
Overcoming Hustle Culture with Advanced Perception
Hello, Earnest Mann here! In this episode, I expose the hidden realities of hustle culture and show you how advanced perception can save you from burnout. If you’ve ever felt trapped in endless overwork, this is for you.
The Boiling Frog Effect and Modern Work Pace
I explain the boiling frog effect, where we fail to notice our work demands slowly ratcheting up until we’re cooked by burnout. You’ll see why today’s pace is two to three times faster than in 1985 and how that relentless speed is eroding our mental health.
From Reacting to Acting: Regaining Control
Discover why slaving away for someone else’s vision leaves you dissatisfied and how shifting from reaction to action through productivity hacks and introspection empowers you to create your own path.
Attitude Change Through Perception
Learn how a sudden shift in attitude—sparked by advanced perception—can unlock possibilities you never imagined and break the cycle of feeling like a profit parasite.
Look, I know your time is precious, thank you for taking the time, to read this.
I want to build a community of rational, reasonably open-minded people daring to discuss what really needs to be changed, and committing to actual action - not just comfortable and detached theoretical nothingness - to improve the quality of our lives.
So if you have a suggestion for an episode topic, or simply want to reach out to me for help, you can reach me via my website's contact page - https://theearnestmannshow.com/aboutcontact - and I will get back to you ASAP. I'm not promising miracles, but my advice is often a hell of a lot better - and certainly cheaper - than a shrink.

Greetings. Here are ideas and
0:03
information intended to help you
0:05
navigate the mind field of life's many
0:08
problems that I have gained through a
0:10
self-realization process known as
0:13
advanced perception. Through advanced
0:16
perception, we learn that we are not
0:19
getting working answers to our problems
0:22
because we're asking the wrong
0:24
questions. So if you have an open mind
0:26
and understand that you have absolutely
0:29
nothing to lose, here it is. But this is
0:32
not free. It requires that you pay
0:36
attention.
0:38
Do you think you work too hard or too
0:40
fast? Is hustle culture part of your
0:44
life, but you feel it's not being talked
0:46
about with any real depth at all? Well,
0:50
that's what we're going to be taking a
0:52
deep dive into right now. Hello, this is
0:55
Ernest. Welcome.
0:58
There's one thing I know for certain.
1:00
Everywhere I go, when I'm running
1:02
errands, such as Costco, grocery
1:05
shopping, or even a sit-down restaurant,
1:08
you know, the regular mundane things we
1:10
all need to do. Everyone working in
1:13
these places, almost without fail, are
1:16
working entirely too damn fast.
1:21
Now, if you're not noticing this, there
1:23
could be several reasons. But the most
1:25
common one is what's known as the
1:28
boiling frog effect. And if you don't
1:30
know what that is, I'll tell you.
1:34
If you take a frog and toss it into a
1:36
small pot of boiling water, it will
1:39
instantly jump out. But because frogs
1:42
are reptilians and therefore don't
1:45
regulate their body temperatures, if you
1:48
put a frog in a cool pot of water, we're
1:51
assuming that the frog doesn't jump out
1:53
of the pot for any other reason and
1:57
slowly raise the temperature. The frog
2:00
will in fact just eventually cook. The
2:04
frog cooks because it doesn't have the
2:07
perceptual mechanisms to realize it's
2:10
being cooked. This in large part is
2:13
what's occurring today because virtually
2:16
no one under the age of 40 has any
2:19
reference point of just how dramatically
2:22
they're overwork.
2:24
If for simply any other reason, they
2:27
didn't exist when I did.
2:30
I have carefully observed that most
2:33
workers today are working at a pace that
2:37
would have been both demeaning and
2:39
ridiculous when I was in my 20s.
2:43
Young people today are expected to work
2:47
at a pace two to three times what would
2:50
have been normal in:2:54
Yet people are wondering why so much of
2:56
society is breaking down and going
2:58
crazy. Most people today are not
3:01
working, they're slaving.
3:05
Now, perhaps everything I have said so
3:08
far is new to you. Or if not, you may be
3:11
thinking, "Well, due to his age, he
3:14
should know all of this." Anyone his age
3:17
should know all of this. But I can
3:20
assure you that is not the case because
3:25
many people that are my age today are
3:28
still no more aware of what's actually
3:32
going on around them than they were in
3:35
their mid20s.
3:38
This is the very reason why there is
3:41
advanced perception and why it's so
3:44
important. It's one thing to be utterly
3:47
clueless at 20. It's quite another to be
3:50
so at age 60.
3:53
One of the primary reasons many people
3:56
feel depressed and dissatisfied is
3:59
because they are not where they should
4:02
be in life. Yet because in the very
4:05
small amount of recuperation time they
4:08
have, if they bother to even think about
4:12
it at all,
4:14
they're not able to connect the dots due
4:18
to a lack of introspection
4:20
because they are working very hard to
4:23
get someone else somewhere whereas they
4:27
themselves don't get anywhere. And the
4:31
reason they don't connect these dots in
4:34
turn, why they lack the advanced
4:37
perception to do so is they are too busy
4:41
working. It's the classic case of the
4:44
dog chasing its tail.
4:47
So the first step in getting rid of this
4:50
dysfunctionality due to a lack of
4:53
perception is stop being the dog chasing
4:56
its tail. You simply have to start
4:59
acting as opposed to reacting.
5:03
By doing so, you will come to realize
5:06
that you will never ever produce enough
5:10
or work fast enough
5:13
as far as your employer is concerned.
5:17
And you will never earn enough money
5:21
because as far as your employer is
5:24
concerned,
5:25
if they spoke honestly, which they
5:28
seldom do, you are nothing but an
5:31
inconvenient profit parasite they wish
5:34
would just go away. And they're working
5:38
very hard both with robotics and AI to
5:42
make sure that happens ASAP.
5:45
This is the reason why now more than
5:48
ever you need the power of advanced
5:51
perception because it is your single
5:54
most powerful weapon to survive an
5:56
increasingly insane and hostile world.
6:01
Consider this for a moment. How much of
6:03
what I have just said were you already
6:06
aware of? If you were already fully
6:09
aware of all this, good for you. But if
6:12
you weren't aware of any of that, and if
6:15
you hadn't been directed via
6:18
synchronicity to this message, well,
6:21
synchronicity is great when it's there,
6:24
but that is not always the case. Which
6:27
is why it's always better to have an
6:31
advanced perception.
6:34
But you see, even though everything I
6:36
just said is absolutely true, that's
6:39
still only part of a much bigger issue.
6:43
Do you want to be utterly possessed with
6:46
the notion of fulfilling someone else's
6:48
vision or do you want to create and
6:51
possess your own?
6:54
I can tell you with absolute assurance
6:56
that until you make the decision to
7:00
possess your own life, until you make
7:03
the decision to stop living vicariously,
7:06
you will remain depressed and
7:09
unsatisfied.
7:10
Not because you may not be earning the
7:13
kind of money that you really would
7:15
like, but because your spirit is being
7:19
subjugated.
7:21
But fortunately
7:23
something can be done to change that.
7:26
What needs to be done is a fundamental
7:29
change in attitude. And that's exactly
7:32
the easy part because that will occur
7:36
automatically once you fully understand
7:39
what's taking place in a given
7:41
situation.
7:43
Your attitude changes when you can look
7:46
at a situation and clearly see not only
7:50
what it's about in general, but how it
7:53
affects your life specifically. That in
7:56
turn is achieved through, you guessed
7:58
it, advanced perception. Let me ask you
8:01
this. Have you ever been betrayed?
8:06
Having experienced it more than once
8:08
myself, I believe it's absolutely one of
8:12
the most powerful emotional experiences
8:15
a person ever endures.
8:18
But betrayal is a continuum, a spectrum.
8:22
At one end, there are childhood
8:24
betrayals. something very silly such as,
8:28
you know, promising a friend to keep a
8:31
secret from another friend who stole a
8:34
mutual friend's candy bar, then giving
8:37
away the secret anyway to another
8:40
person. Well, it really makes you mad at
8:43
your friend when you're 9 years old.
8:46
Then at the other end of the spectrum in
8:50
the adult world, it might be confessing
8:52
the knowledge of a lover's or husband's
8:55
or wife's infidelity to the significant
8:59
other. And as I'm sure many of you may
9:03
know, this realization of betrayal very
9:08
has very frequently resulted in murder.
9:10
Now pay attention because here is the
9:14
important point. So in conclusion,
9:17
because of what had occurred is an
9:21
instant and fundamental change in
9:23
attitude and because of that radical
9:27
change in attitude, a person can now
9:30
potentially do anything. Things that
9:33
before the attitude change, they
9:36
couldn't even imagine doing. And that
9:39
entire process begins by developing
9:42
advanced perception.
9:45
I really hope you found this helpful or
9:48
interesting. So, if you want to know
9:50
more or have any questions at all, you
9:53
can reach out to me via my website link
9:56
in the description below.
9:59
And if you really want to give me a
10:00
compliment, telling a friend about the
10:02
show would be the best compliment you
10:05
could ever give me. Until next time,
10:09
this is Ernest and I usually always am.
