Lohanny Santos: When unrealistic expectations and reality collides.

Navigating the Aftermath of Poor Academic Choices: The Lohanny Santos Saga

Hey there, it's Earnest Mann! Today, we're shedding light on a story that's been buzzing around, featuring Lohanny Santos as the central figure in a tale of regrettable academic decisions and the sympathetic waves it created. It's a tale that intertwines misguided aspirations with harsh realities, a topic that's as prevalent as ever in our current discourse.

The Stark Reality Behind Choosing "Useless" Degrees

In the heart of this discussion lies Lohanny Santos, whose academic path led her to obtain degrees in communication and art. This decision has sparked a broader conversation about the value of certain degrees in the modern job market. The story, highlighted in Forbes, not only draws attention to Santos' predicament but also to the overwhelming sympathetic response from the public. This scenario underlines the dangerous allure of dysfunctional enabling in our society.

The Illusion of Academic Ability Versus Real-World Success

Diving deeper, we dissect the misconception that academic prowess equates to intelligence, emphasizing that memory and abstract problem-solving skills are often the real predictors of academic success. This insight challenges the narrative sold to the masses, highlighting the unrealistic expectations set by societal norms and the feminist movement of the '90s.

Practical Advice for Future Generations

Concluding our exploration, we pivot towards actionable advice for individuals navigating their academic and professional futures. Stressing the importance of selecting fields of study that align with real-world demands, such as engineering or trades, we aim to guide listeners towards more fulfilling and financially stable career paths. 00:02 [Music] hello folks and good Monday what I would like to talk to you about is something that not only do we hear a lot about these days but something we're going to hear lot more of what it basically boils down to is the consequences of stupid decisions now for those of you who have gotten to know me you know that I just call it as I see it I don't sugarcoat things and I don't approach subjects with a woke or feminized point of view so if you can handle that and hear what I have to say from start to to finish

01:01 which is only about 10 minutes that's all I ask you may love me you may hate me but at least you were entertained now in this case this story is about a woman named L Henny Santos who should be a poster child for stupid decisions before I get into the meat and potatoes about Miss Santos I wanted to mention that what I find really disturbing about this story is not so much the situation she finds herself in but people's reaction to it you see when I came across this story in Forbes one very telling aspect of it was the

01:48 overwhelming sympathetic support she received from tens of thousands of other people apparently much like herself who apparently identify with her plight of not being able to secure a good bang position even though they possess such fantastic qualifications that part made me want to fall out of my chair laughing but we'll get to that in a bit I believe it's this kind of dysfunctional enabling which only exacerbates a bad situation so this is the reason why I want wanted to offer my opinion on this in my own notoriously kind gentle and

02:37 humanistic way I don't know exactly when it started but I believe it was in the '90s the trend was well on the way that women adopted the neurotic compulsion to be independent what some of you may recognize or remember as the I Don't Need No Man movement being pretied to average workingclass women by man-hating feminists who were already quite well off usually having the security of university positions and or having written books that sold quite well to the working class peon women who in reality for several reasons didn't have

03:29 and probably never would have a snowballs chance in hell of achieving anything even close to what those women in the Ivory Towers had and it wasn't because of male patriarchy an idea they very convincingly sold to the workingclass women it was much more related to academic ability and I'm going to explain something which may be very surprising ing to you I'm going to explain that more often than not academic ability is misinterpreted as intelligence it's not the truth be told is that what has been proven in studies all over the

04:17 world and no I'm not going to cite the studies you either have to take my word for it or get off your lazy ass and find it yourself that the number one predictor of academic success is memory people who have really great memories that can instantly recall facts and figures all things being equal tend to do very well on both standardized and non-standardized test so if you're lucky enough to be in the relatively small percentage of the population that can do that you're pretty much good to go another corollary that often seems to

05:04 walk hand in hand with great memory recall ability is abstract problem solving so by what basically amounts to a a genetic role of the dice if you are fortunate enough to possess both those qualities again all things being equal you stand a far greater chance of succeeding in just about without any higher educational Pursuit if you don't you probably won't news flash we are not all equal we do not have equal abilities and life certainly isn't fair so now I can go into the four mentioned meat and potatoes of this

05:52 particular situation the article about Miss Santos mentioned that she had two degrees one in communication and the other in art what it didn't say was the level of those degrees so I'll try to open-endedly break in this down if either one or both of those degrees are at the AA level they are essentially useless if we move up a level and either one or both of those degrees are at the bachelor level it's essentially the same thing not worth very much and for that matter probably even wouldn't matter if one or

06:36 both of those degrees were at the Master's level I mean she should be able to get a position as say a public school teacher especially since she is supposed to have three languages under her belt but in all honesty and this is something I definitely know about the pay isn't for [ __ ] when you factor in that public school teachers especially Middle School through high school work anywhere from 60 to 80 hours a week which in turn basically means that you don't have a life it's not exactly a career that's

07:16 very appealing so what we have here is a young adult who made some really stupid moves in her life academically spending all the time and money for what are essentially useless degrees and then is bitching and crying literally on a public forum letting the whole world know how unhappy they are with their life and basically how unfair life is being to them then as I said before thousands and thousands of people send her emotional milk and cookies and patting her on the head reassuringly it's okay we're going to

08:04 make that bad old mean reality go away you're special you don't deserve this the true answer of course is that she's not special reality is not going to go away and whether or not she deserves it bad things happen to the prepared and the unprepared but they tend to happen a lot more to the unprepared or the stupid and life doesn't naturally protect or Aid the stupid and now just a brief message for our sponsor you I have some very special items that I believe former president Trump could describe far

08:50 better than I can I believe he would say you know folks I've got something here I know you're just dying to get your hand hands on and this picture simply doesn't do them Justice no folks it doesn't doesn't do them Justice at all they are beautiful and wonderful wonderful and beautiful folks they are wonderful and magnificent Beyond description folks they are simply magnificent how's that for doing Donald Trump folks let's make Ernest great again ha haa the item on the left is a 3 INX 3in

09:35 refrigerator magnet extraordinaire and it's even bendable on the right an absolutely beautiful 8x5 in vinyl sticker for your window this is highquality vinyl that will not fade and is easy to remove if for some unimaginable reason you should ever decide to do so so what makes these items so special you may ask well these are the only items remaining that have my original shows logo they are the last of the original I don't have that many when they're gone they're gone never to be seen again and just like cabbage

10:23 patched dolls are destined to become family heirlooms so if you missed your chance with cabbage pets dolls here's your last chance to get the original artwork of the earnest man show just pick which one you want when you send me the coffee which is in the feed the fridge Link in the description below I want to sincerely thank you now because whatever you are willing to send my way is definitely very appreciated now let's get back to the show if you want to make good money or at least decent money if you want to do

11:08 it with a degree get a degree in engineering or the Sciences you should pretty much have lifetime job security and barring that you could try something else that's very connected to the real world a trade a good auto mechanic is never worried about money problems s they always have plenty of work if cars are not your thing you could be a barber or a hair stylist those people can make really good money you'll notice that I said a good mechanic or a good hair stylist not the tons of people that just go through the

11:49 motions to collect a paycheck every week generally speaking people like that don't really go anywhere in life and throughout all recorded human history they never have and they never will I believe that bad things even you know happen to good people it's just life and when we have friends families or neighbors that need our help we should certainly consider helping them but I'm saying consider not just automatically simply because they're alive not every human being is necessarily deserving of help that's

12:33 something that needs to be determined on an individual basis as far as Miss Santos is concerned I'll just say that if we had those old uh old school pay phones like we used to I would definitely give her a quarter so she could call someone who gives a damn until next Monday or Friday this is Ernest wishing you peace and good things

The Earnest Mann Show
A truly unique broadcast, Unabashedly celebrating unwokeness.
One of the many things I enjoy doing in life, is helping other people the best way I know how, by offering people a sanctuary of sanity in a world gone mad. I do this by offering a different perspective, a realist perspective on just about anything and everything. You see, I have found, that there can be amazing relevant connections in our everyday life, from very unlikely sources, meaning people that on the surface you might think would absolutely have nothing in common with you, but having a discussion with them, ended up benefiting my life, just with the exact information, and at the exact time I needed it! I'm telling you, you will be amazed at how communications with many life experiences can positively affect and improve your life! That is why I created The Earnest Mann Show, a place where we can talk about anything. From history, to current events, economics, politics and religion, to sex with space aliens, you name it, the topics for discussion are only as limited as our imagination, and your input, so leave a comment, because your opinion matters, in this big beautiful world we all share.
