Modern Censorship, Word Policing, and Tyranny in America

The Hidden Cost of Speaking Freely in Modern America

Hello, Earnest Mann here! In this episode, I explore what it means to speak the truth in a society that claims to value free speech—but punishes it in practice. Inspired by a conversation with my friend Roy, a former sociology professor, I unpack how modern censorship, word policing, and cultural schizophrenia are strangling real conversation and personal freedom.

Why Speaking the Truth Is No Longer Safe

I begin by comparing today’s America with the 11th-century Catholic Church, where dissent could lead to death. While you may not get burned at the stake today, your life can still be socially and economically destroyed for expressing unpopular truths. I’ve seen this happen up close—cancel culture isn’t just a buzzword; it’s real, and it's devastating.

Tyranny Through Language Control

Referencing Aristotle, I examine how masculine republics transform into feminine democracies, eventually succumbing to tyranny. That tyranny emerges when people are forbidden to speak plainly—especially for reasons so absurd, they insult intelligence. And yet, it’s our new reality.

The Fool’s Errand: Deception by Design

I explain how society keeps us distracted through false promises, endless distractions, and celebrity obsession, siphoning our energy through emotional manipulation. Evil isn't always dramatic; often, it simply lies with a smile, sending us chasing after meaning in places it knows are hollow.

Advanced Perception and the Power to See Clearly

Thanks to Sapion Analytics, my practice of advanced perception, I see what’s happening. But can you? That’s the question I pose to you. This isn't paranoia—this is awareness. And awareness is power.

The Call to Escape Mediocrity

That’s why I’m creating a community of awakened individuals who are ready to walk away from the circus of empty distractions and build a meaningful life. If your soul is tired of the superficial, if you crave real experiences, you're not alone. You belong with us.

I would like to meet - both online and in person - individuals interested in discussing ideas on what really needs to be changed, to improve the quality of our lives.

So if you have a suggestion for an episode topic, or simply want to reach out to me for help, you can reach me via my website's contact page - https://theearnestmannshow.com/aboutcontact - and I will get back to you ASAP.

I'm not promising miracles, but my advice is often a hell of a lot better - and certainly cheaper - than a therapist!.

Imagine

0:01

this. You are on a sailing ship at sea.

0:06

You have been looking for a small island

0:08

that allegedly is perfect for living.

0:11

But I'm going to tell you why it's not.

0:15

Hello, my name is Ernest. Welcome.

0:19

I was having a conversation the other

0:22

day with an old friend who was a

0:25

sociology professor at a well-known

0:28

university. He wishes to remain

0:31

anonymous for reasons that will soon

0:33

become apparent. So, we'll just call him

0:37

Roy.

0:39

I've always considered Roy extremely

0:41

interesting to talk to, and I have very

0:44

much appreciated the fact that he has

0:47

always supported my ideas on Sapion

0:51

Analytics, aka advanced perception.

0:55

But what we discussed just recently,

0:58

what I was able to get across is truly

1:02

enlightening and also terrifying.

1:06

I believe that what I'm about to tell

1:09

you will only get across effectively

1:13

through historical example. I'm going to

1:16

mention some religious historical facts.

1:19

So, if you're religious, don't get a B

1:22

in your bonnet over this. As I said,

1:25

it's for illustrative purposes.

1:29

If you were living anywhere that the

1:32

Catholic Church had a very strong grip

1:34

on society in the 11th or 12th century,

1:40

you really needed to mind your tongue.

1:43

At least your thoughts and statements

1:45

get you branded as a heretic, which

1:48

could bring a great deal of social,

1:52

financial, and physical harm upon

1:54

yourself, such as being burned at the

1:57

stake. Definitely not pleasant.

2:01

But what if I told you currently in

2:04

America, you can speak your mind only to

2:08

a certain extent?

2:11

Because even though at least in America,

2:15

you can somewhat speak your peace and

2:18

you're not going to be crucified, burned

2:22

at the stake, or beheaded. True,

2:27

but you can have your life andor your

2:30

family's life completely destroyed by

2:33

speaking. And I know this to be an

2:36

absolute fact because I have witnessed

2:39

such destruction personally many times.

2:44

This is why Aristotle said over 23

2:47

centuries ago, masculine republics give

2:51

way to feminine democracies and feminine

2:54

democracies give way to tyranny.

2:59

This is the reason why America as well

3:03

as the UK have become nations of

3:06

violence, corruption and indifference

3:09

because this is the fruit of tyranny and

3:14

tyranny is exactly what happens as a

3:17

consequence of word policing.

3:21

And nothing destroys a society, which in

3:25

turn destroys a nation

3:28

faster than curtailing and controlling

3:31

language, especially for the most

3:34

idiotic reasons imaginable.

3:38

If I may give you just one more very

3:41

short illustration.

3:43

You've signed up to be a crew member of

3:46

an adventuring ship during the age of

3:49

sail.

3:50

You are told that there are two primary

3:53

rules which you must always obey.

3:58

First, if you discover significant

4:01

flooding or anything else which could

4:04

seriously threaten to sink the ship, you

4:08

must report it to the captain

4:10

immediately or be hung.

4:13

Second, if at any time you report to the

4:17

captain that you have discovered

4:19

significant flooding below deck and that

4:22

the ship is seriously threatened with

4:24

sinking, you will, without further

4:27

questions or argument, be hung.

4:31

What I just described is a perfect

4:34

description of schizophrenia.

4:36

Welcome to America.

4:40

This is the living reality that the vast

4:42

majority of us, myself included, find

4:46

ourselves in.

4:48

The difference with myself, however, is

4:51

because I have incorporated the practice

4:54

of advanced perception to such an extent

4:57

in my daily life. I am fully aware of

5:00

this situation. But the question you

5:03

should be asking yourself right now is,

5:07

was I

5:09

You see what this is comes down to being

5:13

on a fool's errand which is being

5:16

produced by evil intent.

5:20

At this point I just want to reiterate

5:22

that as far as this subject is concerned

5:26

even though I would very much like to I

5:30

cannot at this time speak in simple

5:33

direct language.

5:35

This is the reason I speak so obliquely.

5:39

Not that I'm trying to be annoyingly

5:42

pretentious. I'm trying to protect my

5:45

own life.

5:47

So, where the hell was I? Oh, yeah. Evil

5:50

fools Aaron.

5:53

There is evil. And because it is evil,

5:56

it lies to you. It doesn't care about

6:00

you whatsoever.

6:02

It only cares about itself. But in order

6:05

to get what evil needs, which is your

6:09

life force, it has to pretend to care

6:13

about you. Sometimes going to great

6:16

lengths of deception, depending on the

6:19

level and brightness of your life force

6:23

to get that life force.

6:26

And this is what I keep explaining to

6:28

the point of sounding like a broken

6:30

record. I wonder how many of you get

6:34

that joke because you won't get the joke

6:38

if you don't even know what a record is.

6:42

Anyway,

6:44

one of the many things the evil does is

6:47

sending you on continuous and

6:50

neverending fool's errands, knowing full

6:54

well that what it is you seek is not

6:58

there or any of the other places evil

7:02

puts forth with very definitive

7:05

language. Meanwhile, evil is taking from

7:09

you exactly

7:11

what it wants.

7:13

So with all this in mind, I'm announcing

7:17

that I am in the process of forming a

7:20

group or society, if you will, of those

7:24

possessing the desire to escape an

7:28

otherwise dull and mundane existence and

7:32

engage in something they personally

7:34

could never have imagined for

7:37

themselves.

7:38

You see, when a situation has become

7:42

extremely unpleasant,

7:44

that can be anything from a person

7:47

you're living with, your neighborhood,

7:50

or your nation. You basically have two

7:53

potential choices.

7:56

You can try to correct the problems with

7:58

that situation wherever and whatever

8:01

that may be. And if that is not

8:04

possible, you must leave. And assuming

8:09

you're not being emotionally or

8:12

psychologically held against your will,

8:15

the very next question which should come

8:17

to mind is where the hell do you go?

8:23

Now, please bear in mind I'm not talking

8:27

about a situation where you want to get

8:30

away from your lover. So, you're

8:34

temporarily willing to live with friends

8:37

or family, assuming they will have you,

8:41

or you live in a crappy neighborhood or

8:44

perhaps even a crappy state, and you

8:47

really just want to get out of there.

8:50

This is not what I'm talking about. What

8:54

I'm talking about is a person who is not

8:58

otherwise in a crisis mode situation.

9:03

but a person who is simply just very

9:05

tired of and disillusioned with the

9:09

modernity of contemporary American

9:12

society which has mainly been

9:15

conditioned to the point of endless

9:18

celebrity obsession. A breaking news

9:22

story that urgently informs us if and at

9:27

what time Taylor Swift farted or if the

9:32

Menendez brothers are actually going to

9:36

get parole.

9:38

If I could just take a moment for this

9:41

pitch. Here's the amazing and incredible

9:44

Earnest Man tote bag.

9:47

Christ, which can be all yours for a

9:50

very reasonable donation by just

9:53

clicking on the link in the description

9:55

below. It's sturdy and holds a lot of

9:58

ramen noodles.

10:00

No, seriously, it it holds a a lot of

10:04

ramen noodles.

10:06

I'm talking about the kind of person who

10:09

empathizes with me in absolutely

10:12

detesting that seemingly endless parade

10:16

of self-absorbed

10:18

nothingness vacuum people who constantly

10:22

whine and moan. usually in a fetal

10:26

childlike position with those sweaters

10:29

that go halfway up their hands,

10:32

complaining about their inability to

10:35

feel anything.

10:39

Want to feel something? Here's a

10:41

suggestion. Find yourself a very long

10:45

and steep staircase. go to the top and

10:49

throw yourself down that staircase.

10:52

Assuming the angle and length of the

10:54

staircase is sufficient, I can

10:57

practically guarantee you when you reach

11:00

the bottom,

11:03

you'll be feeling something.

11:07

Well, that's all I've got for today. I

11:11

hope you found this helpful or

11:13

interesting.

11:15

And if you have any questions at all,

11:17

you can reach out to me via my website

11:20

link in the description below.

11:24

And if you really want to give me a

11:25

compliment, telling a friend about the

11:27

show would be the best compliment you

11:30

could ever give me. Until next time,

11:33

this is Ernest and I usually always am

You see, I have found, that there can be amazing relevant connections in our everyday life, from very unlikely sources, meaning people that on the surface you might think would absolutely have nothing in common with you, but having a discussion with them, ended up benefiting my life, just with the exact information, and at the exact time I needed it! I'm telling you, you will be amazed at how communications with many life experiences can positively affect and improve your life! That is why I created The Earnest Mann Show, a place where we can talk about anything. From history, to current events, economics, politics and religion, to sex with space aliens, you name it, the topics for discussion are only as limited as our imagination, and your input, so leave a comment, because your opinion matters, in this big beautiful world we all share.
