LUIGI MANGIONE: THIS INFORMATION SHOULD SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOU. PC.399 THE EARNEST MANN SHOW
Is Violence Ever the Answer? Exploring Retribution, Justice, and Society’s Shifting Values
Hello, Earnest Mann here! In today’s episode, I tackle a polarizing topic: the role of violence in society and the distinction between justice and retribution. I argue that society’s sanitized view of violence ignores its historical and sometimes necessary role in achieving change. Whether examining the Romanov downfall, revolutions, or modern perceptions of justice, the conversation gets uncomfortable but real.
Violence as a Catalyst for Change: A Historical Perspective
I discuss historical instances like the Russian Revolution and the American Revolution, both rooted in violence. These examples challenge the commonly parroted sentiment that "violence is never the answer." From the Romanovs' fate to King George’s dismissal, history tells a different story.
The Difference Between Justice and Retribution
In our modern justice system, I explore cases like the killing of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson by Luigi Mangun. The public reaction—a mix of morbid humor and silent support—reveals a revolutionary mindset born out of economic despair. Retribution and frustration often drive the masses, but these are not the same as true justice.
The Soulless Society: A Call for Fire and Character
I lament the childlike complacency of today's society, comparing it to a "sterile, soulless consumer machine." Drawing on my Brooklyn upbringing, I emphasize the need for grit, courage, and the resolve to stand up against bullies—whether in schoolyards or corporate boardrooms.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm a deep thinking contrarian, a very pragmatic idiocythrope. I believe that function determines desirability and legitimacy. I don't like the superficial and/or pretentious, nor the shallow. I speak the truth as best as I know it, as a professor of tautology.
With friends, I desire quality over quantity. I know some very important life truths I'm just waiting for you to ask about. I have found in life, many people talk about happiness, but are unwilling to pay the price, or believe they shouldn't have to, because they are entitled to it, but I know with absolute certainty, that such beliefs are always due to stupidity, Insanity, or some degree of both.
This is not just another YouTube channel; I'm seeking to build a community of Intelligent thinkers daring to discuss, - and say - what the hell really needs to be said, so do the right thing, leave your thoughts, for me and others to possibly learn from, and subscribe, and tell everyone else in the world you know about me, and you'll stand a really good chance, of me remembering you, in my will!
I believe we really can change the current status quo of an idiotic and fucked up purposeless treadmill existence, and actually improve this world, but it requires intelligence, honesty, and BALLS, all three of which are currently in short supply, especially the balls.
Thank you for taking the time, to read this, and remember to avoid anything or anyone stupid, as much as possible, your life will be far better for it.
Please consider, that by visiting my website and/or donating to this show, you're supporting an actual person, not some mega corporation, that wouldn't know human compassion if it hit them over the head!
I look forward to hearing from you, and until next Monday or Friday remember, the world may be misinformed and batshit crazy, but YOU, don’t have to be!

hello and thank you for being
0:04
here as soon as you hear anyone be they
0:08
a politician therapist priest I don't
0:12
give a [ __ ] who it is doesn't
0:15
matter as soon as you hear them utter
0:18
the words well yeah that's terrible all
0:22
that's really bad and it's not fair but
0:26
violence is never the
0:28
answer you know I'm telling you you know
0:33
you're dealing with a [ __ ]
0:44
idiot the people who are running the
0:48
show and you can go back in history
0:52
certainly in even recent recorded
0:55
history you know the Russian Revolution
1:00
and the time for
1:02
instance when a group of very
1:07
frightened and hungry and very
1:11
angry revolutionary peasants
1:15
decided especially after the romanovs
1:19
had still lived in luxury for yet
1:22
another year even after they were taken
1:25
out of
1:27
power
1:28
and brought them to the basement and
1:31
shot every one of them man woman and
1:34
child and the truth is they didn't have
1:39
to shoot
1:41
them but they wanted
1:45
retribution that's something I talk
1:47
about a
1:49
lot is that what people want besides
1:53
fairness
1:55
is
1:58
retribution and so that's what
2:01
happened now do you think that part of
2:06
their last words or any of their last
2:09
words to the people who were about to
2:12
shoot them were no you shouldn't shoot
2:16
us because violence is never the
2:21
answer I would remind any patently
2:26
[ __ ] idiotic person out there what do
2:30
you think the United States was founded
2:33
on you know we didn't send emaries to
2:38
King George or as he was known as crazy
2:42
King George at the time with a list of
2:46
desires and wants now it would really
2:49
really be nice if you didn't tax us for
2:52
the tea cuz it's a setting this and it's
2:54
not
2:57
nice last time I checked uh um in order
3:01
to be quotee unquote free and to form
3:04
the Republic we
3:06
have uh yeah it took a war and Wars
3:11
here's a news flash for you Wars [ __ ]
3:14
kill
3:15
people and it doesn't
3:18
matter as far as the killing is
3:20
concerned it doesn't have to be let's
3:23
say an allout
3:25
War it all starts it may even start with
3:29
a single
3:30
killing this is what kicked off um
3:34
basically uh the first world
3:36
war when uh the King Ferdinand was shot
3:41
and killed he and his wife were shot and
3:43
killed by a seran a Serbian
3:48
nationalist uh otherwise known as the
3:50
shot heard around the
3:52
world so yeah when people when push
3:56
comes to
3:57
shove that's why you have [ __ ] course
4:01
but the oppressors who are just yeah
4:04
things are going to get better for you I
4:07
promise I I know your family is starving
4:09
to death and you can't afford rent and
4:12
you can't afford food and you can't
4:14
afford just about anything but but but
4:17
violence is not the
4:19
answer don't threaten us we're busy
4:23
making money from you can't you see
4:26
[Applause]
4:28
H Jesus Christ Christ is everyone in
4:32
this country today are you utterly
4:34
bereft of any intelligence
4:38
whatsoever of course naturally of course
4:43
it's always better to try to reason with
4:47
your
4:49
neighbors but you know if your neighbors
4:52
are [ __ ] steadfastly
4:56
crazy and making your life a living hell
5:01
you know if you whacked out your
5:03
neighbors and I was the judge I've got
5:06
to hear this thing
5:07
out because there's a difference there
5:10
really is a difference between killing
5:13
and
5:14
murder now what they have in common of
5:17
course is someone ends up dead we got
5:20
that not we we we totally got that but
5:24
reasons matter so for instance uh we
5:28
train our troops in the military which
5:30
are well mercenaries now and we say okay
5:35
the government says well all right well
5:37
we want this over here and it looks good
5:40
or it looks good for PR looks good for
5:43
democracy so we're going to take you
5:45
guys and put you guys over
5:47
here and uh we want you to go in and
5:51
restore order that's Cod speak for kill
5:54
a bunch of [ __ ] people and you know
5:56
do what we tell you and then
5:58
leave yeah yet on the other hand the
6:01
people who are doing the killing the
6:02
grunts The Mercenaries which is
6:05
basically really what they are or what
6:09
most of our Armed Forces today have
6:11
sadly
6:13
become um you know the average citizens
6:16
just they're flying the flag we are
6:20
heroes like a [ __ ]
6:22
child I am not a
6:25
child I know what they do speaking from
6:30
some
6:31
experience so yeah having a
6:35
brain um at least a fairly decent one
6:39
yeah I'm I'm pretty aware of what they
6:41
do and it ain't
6:44
nice and uh because well that's what
6:47
it's like when you're a
6:48
mercenary so but the thing is about that
6:53
I will add very quickly that uh being a
6:56
mercenary is a two-edged sword because
6:59
again just to briefly mention on the um
7:03
the r the romanovs I can never say their
7:06
damn name right forgive me but anyway uh
7:10
yeah one of the other problems they had
7:13
um because the wife uh Nicholas was
7:16
basically an idiot and the wife was
7:18
blowing all the money in the world on
7:21
everything but they stopped paying their
7:25
guards that's right the imbeciles were
7:28
so because they had been in power
7:31
forever in so many
7:33
generations even when uh you know the
7:37
the wife was asked about this oh the
7:39
guards the guards they wouldn't dare
7:41
betray
7:42
us yeah but you you hav't [ __ ] paid
7:46
him in 6 months and oh that's they are
7:50
loyal yeah
7:53
really that's not the way it works with
7:56
mercenaries soon as the Bucks stop
7:58
rolling they stop being uh faithful to
8:02
you let's say now let's take for
8:06
example this guy um Luigi
8:11
mangun or
8:14
Luigi
8:16
Manon hope I'm not butchering that at
8:19
any rate um he
8:23
killed um United healthc Care CEO Brian
8:28
Thompson
8:30
and um I can say in my opinion that
8:35
doesn't take again tremendous amounts of
8:37
court cost and and dragging this on
8:41
endlessly um yeah Luigi's
8:45
crazy and I'm not saying that just
8:49
because he killed this guy I'm just
8:53
saying he's not in control of his
8:56
faculties and you know that's not a good
9:00
thing um because for instance if
9:03
anything is with any kind of real you
9:06
know premeditation or
9:08
intelligence you don't carry the murder
9:10
weapon around with you you don't hang
9:13
out in public especially at a McDonald's
9:16
when your name and likeness has been
9:18
plastered from here to [ __ ]
9:20
Jupiter so yeah I mean the guy's
9:24
nuts however um never the criminal
9:28
justice system will never fail to screw
9:32
anything up that's pretty much cut and
9:34
dry so he's going to if he I don't know
9:37
if there's a even a death Penny penalty
9:40
available in this case or not but if it
9:43
isn't he's going to just sit and rot in
9:46
prison where he shouldn't be because he
9:49
should be in a mental health
9:52
facility but at taxpayers expense at
9:55
tens of thousands hundreds of thousands
9:57
which will end up being Millions over
9:59
for a lifetime assuming he lives to a
10:02
ripe old age yeah uh that's the second
10:06
tragedy what I'm talking about in all of
10:08
this is that um the guy is well well
10:12
crazy and so you know yet on the other
10:17
hand there are it's public knowledge
10:20
that there's tens of thousands of just
10:23
incredible amount of all these tweets
10:27
and emojis on uh various uh platforms
10:31
like X or or what have you with uh
10:35
laughing emojis about it and it's not so
10:39
much that people don't give a damn it's
10:42
that you know they support it
10:44
because again they are absolutely
10:48
they're in a very let's say what's the
10:50
word I don't know revolutionary
10:54
mindset because their lives are so
10:56
[ __ ]
10:57
miserable and so they identifi with this
11:00
guy even if he's crazy but at least they
11:03
feel
11:04
some kind of Retribution this is not the
11:08
same as
11:09
Justice
11:11
because the courts are not about
11:15
Justice they're about law and those are
11:18
two different things but the public
11:21
wants
11:22
retribution so there you have
11:25
it I'm going to summarize this and I
11:28
don't want to preach my whole life
11:31
story what I'm trying to illustrate here
11:34
though is that there are people that
11:36
have become or maybe for all I know we
11:38
as a people have become so utterly
11:42
[ __ ]
11:44
childlike that we simply don't
11:47
understand that just like anything
11:49
else violence is a part of
11:53
life
11:55
otherwise you have nothing but a
11:58
sterilized
12:00
UNS
12:01
Soulful uh consumer Society wait a
12:05
minute that's kind of what it does look
12:08
like doesn't
12:10
it absolutely soulless no character no
12:15
hootspa no fire in the belly all our
12:19
young men perpetually childlike being
12:24
vagin playing video games I was taught
12:29
in Brooklyn all those years ago that if
12:33
the guy shakes you down for your lunch
12:36
money or if he's going to hit you or
12:38
what you knock the [ __ ] out of him or
12:39
you try to and maybe he'll beat your ass
12:42
but every single time he tries to Shake
12:45
You Down you hit him hard as you can and
12:48
you know what eventually at least in my
12:52
case they just got tired of it they got
12:55
tired of uh you know [ __ ] with you
12:58
but these people anyone on any level in
13:02
life it's not a
13:04
joke well you just can't go through life
13:07
solving your problems with
13:11
violence I would remind
13:14
you this great nation was founded on
13:19
violence unless you've [ __ ] forgotten
13:23
that too if you want to see a movie that
13:27
perfectly illustrates everything I've
13:29
been talking
13:31
about check out
13:34
THX
13:37
1138 um yeah it just perfectly
13:43
illustrates what the future for um
13:47
Society is and it's
13:51
deeply deeply disturbing that's all I
13:54
have to say I'm out of
13:57
here if you you would like to know more
14:00
about well just about anything Park your
14:04
