WELCOME TO PLEASANTVILLE SURVIVAL: PT.2 EARNEST MANN'S-THIS IS ALL ABOUT YOU!

Perfectville: What It Takes to Live in a Truly Peaceful Community

Hey folks, it’s Earnest Mann here. In this episode, I unpack the idea of a nearly ideal place to live—a town I’m calling Perfectville. Picture it: clean air, clean water, low crime, no drug-addicted street zombies, and an overall high quality of life. Sounds like a fantasy, right? Well, places like this do exist—but they’re not easy to find, and for good reason.

Why Places Like Perfectville Stay Hidden

I start by responding to a listener's question about where to move for a better life. My frustration? I’ve talked about this before, but the message doesn’t seem to land. These places—like a picturesque village in England I reference—don't want to be found by the wrong people. And who are the wrong people? Folks without character.

It's Not About the Money

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be wealthy to move to a place like Perfectville. Sure, you're not living there on $20K a year, but it’s not exclusive to millionaires either. The real currency here is character, decency, and empathy. These communities aren’t looking for high-income earners—they're looking for folks who can strike up a friendly chat in a café, who don’t bring chaos or entitlement with them.

No Room for Entitled Jerks

There’s a hard truth: if you think money will buy you into a community like this, you’re already disqualified. These places operate on a human level, not a transactional one. They’ll sense the wrong fit fast—and make life uncomfortable until you leave. Think of them like guardians of peace, filtering out anyone who might disrupt it.

Homogeneous by Design

Some will criticize these places for being monocultures. Yes, they are. That’s intentional. They protect their peace and stability fiercely. They’re not anti-diversity—they’re anti-chaos. That’s a distinction too many people miss.

If you think you’ve got the kind of character and mindset that would fit a place like this, reach out. Let’s talk.

First, I know time is precious, thank you for taking the time, to read this....to get to know me, just a bit.

With friends, as with many other things in life, I desire quality over quantity, and I have absolutely no Interest, in time wasting idiotic bullshit or bullshitters.

I'm seeking to build a community of rational people daring to discuss what the hell really needs to be openly discussed and changed, to improve the quality of our Lives.

00:00 hey hello again folks and thank you for being here what if I told you there was an unknown wonderful place for you to live or raise a family it has clean air clean water virtually no crime good weather and absolutely no [ __ ] zombie drug users or bums did that check all the boxes do I have your attention does it sound just too good to be true good you're paying attention let's jump right into a place I found called Perfectville [Music] [Laughter] [Music] oh Nelly it's the Earnest Man Show baby

01:06 with your host Ernest Man bye-bye [Applause] [Applause] i'm going to respond to a question from someone who wants to be anonymous about you know where they can go and uh to live and buy a house and um I'm you know I I want to share my frustration with this because and I I'm saying the fault is mine because even though it I've I've said this several times before somehow the message isn't getting across it's it's not getting through so once more as it was stated into the breach I

02:11 go because uh you know hopefully this time will make things a bit clearer now I'll try to break this down as best I can in the time that I have and of course I never have enough time but that's why I have to put it in multiple episodes so having gotten that out of the way um try to put yourself in the other people's position in other people's position on this for some of you uh this may be easy um especially if you're empathetic and intelligent i don't have I make no qualms about it i don't have

03:00 at this point i don't have a ton of uh subscribers but and this is the way it's been my entire life i have always uh loved those friends that I do have and uh I have always gone in my life for quality over quantity and so at least the people um that do listen uh or watch this show they they get it apparently you guys get it um so yeah I there's that so in the hopes that more of you will get it um again that's that's where I'm at now let's imagine that you're in a uh this village that I opened up with

03:51 called you know Perfectville now everything is perfect and if you live in Perfectville just imagine if you're a resident you're a lifelong resident of Perfectville the very last thing that you want to happen is people strangers coming in um who let's just say are not exactly perfect for Perfectville and that's the whole thing so put yourself in their shoes do these places this isn't just a metaphor for other places that for instance that that photo that's a a little nice little town in England um the name escapes me at the

04:38 moment but uh it's a village in England and um these pl there's there's so many places like this but you don't hear them they're not screaming for that very reason they don't want you to find Well let's just say if you're not the right kind of person they don't want you to find them and here's the number one thing and and you know I'm just going to be I'm just going to be blunt about this and tell you straight up um the number one thing I can tell as soon as I'm

05:12 talking to someone is I can tell I put I call it my it's a combination of [ __ ] and [ __ ] meter and some of it um you know is whatever they're going to say registers on the [ __ ] and the other one is the level of assholeness if that is such a word and uh that helps me to determine where they are at uh in their life and their mind and where they belong um and you know if this person really even is a candidate for say a place like Perfectville so I'm kind of like this I'm kind of like this in between

05:54 gobetween filter you could think of me that way because you know if you're the mayor of a city or or whatnot you you you have to have these things you you have to have a way of separating the wheat from the chaff it's it's that simple so if you would have empathy enough to put yourself in their shoes you know you don't want all kinds of chaotic riff raff coming in you've got a really you've got a good thing going and you want to live you know and enjoy that life and your children's lives you don't

06:29 want to [ __ ] it up you know you don't have if you're well at least if you're functional anyway if you're functional you don't have your drunken I don't know drugaddicted derelict [ __ ] relatives just because they're relatives come into your home and [ __ ] up your family life and everything else sorry you don't do that you know you just don't you You have to draw the line somewhere and so these people have drawn the line now here's the next thing and this is very big

07:08 okay the first assumption that people have very first one is and I mean it is reasonable i get it is the cost and so you know they're saying things like "Oh well these are you know obviously for millionaires and they're these are you know very exclusive places and so forth.

07:36 " And well here's the deal to an extent they are exclusive yes but it's not so much about the money really i mean you know you're you're not gonna for instance you're not going to probably um be skimping by on 20 grand a year and live there no uh no anything else would be lies and [ __ ] on the other hand you don't have to have anything near in excess of 100k a year nowhere near that it all depends so you you you don't have to be rich is what I'm saying you don't have to be [ __ ] rich you know you don't It's You don't so set that aside

08:22 that That's just put it out of your mind okay the number one thing that the people the mayor the of these places what they're looking for believe it or not is something as simple that has totally disappeared um off the American radar in particular and it's something called character and character determines well how good of a person you are now I'm not defining that as religious um as a matter of fact most of these places would actually really strongly prefer it if you were not religious so you know that's again

09:07 that's not a hallmark it's just your character how reasonable and sane are you are you the kind of person for instance that you could go into a bar tavern cafe something and have no problem with just striking up a conversation with a complete stranger hopefully get something going and I don't know in 10 or 15 minutes you're both laughing and you're talking that kind of thing that's what they're looking for you see agreeability and character they don't give a rat's ass about your

09:48 money you don't have real estate agents here running here and running there to make a deal da da they're they're on a different they're on a different plane entirely so yeah that that is the first thing so people will come in you know and they say they they say to me "Well you'll instantly it's the same Americanized [ __ ] that makes me [ __ ] basically want to projectile bomb it.

10:17 " Okay okay they say "Well it's the instant assumption instant [ __ ] assumption is made on their everything is just a cold again capital is transact well I make you know $500 gazillion dollars a year so I could just muscle my ass into this place because well I I make five gazillion dollars a year it's like and these people and this community collectively you know turns the finger to to you and they say "Fuck you.

10:54 " Because even if I'm telling you it works like this even if you get in there somehow which is hard but even if you do um you're not going to be there very long because your life is going to be extremely unpleasant and they're going to make sure your life is unpleasant because again there's none of this kumbaya [ __ ] they don't want any they don't want any you know earth goddess mother hippie [ __ ] whatever they're They don't want that either and so you're not you know they will make it known in every way possible they don't

11:32 want you here they didn't want you force assing squeezing and force assing yourself into their community because they don't want you and so they get sick of it and then they leave and that's why you know they have stable populations and all that and and also um they don't have huge problems of influxes of I don't know what the [ __ ] you want to call them refugees or you know or whatever term you want to put on them no they don't have that they don't have it it's not happening it ain't

12:10 happening take your [ __ ] somewhere else because it's not happening so you know and they say "Well it's you know you're being a monoculture yet." Yes yes that's what they're trying they are homogeneously homogeneous and so um that's the long and the short of it as far as that is concerned now if you for instance if you consider all that and if that sounds interesting to you you want to talk a bit more about it in an episode or shoot me an email or you know whatever it is you want to do that's

12:53 fine um but I thought that this is something that you should know and I'm putting it out here again and hopefully I'll get in question from if you're if you're not too timid and maybe you could send him one sentence one time but that's not the way it works if you want something you have to as Grace Jones once said you reach out and you [ __ ] grab it and when you grab it you don't let go you grab it and you say "Hey hey I want I want to live in perfect bill too let's talk." It's like "Okay let's

13:32 [ __ ] talk." So other than that really hope everything with you is I don't know good and peachy king and [ __ ] and all that stuff and of course I appreciate you being here so I do of course ask that you please subscribe and hit that notification bell because it does of course help my channel grow and God knows I could use some help with that until next Monday or Friday this is earnest and I usually always am

About the Podcast

The Earnest Mann Show
A truly unique broadcast, Unabashedly celebrating unwokeness.
One of the many things I enjoy doing in life, is helping other people the best way I know how, by offering people a sanctuary of sanity in a world gone mad. I do this by offering a different perspective, a realist perspective on just about anything and everything. You see, I have found, that there can be amazing relevant connections in our everyday life, from very unlikely sources, meaning people that on the surface you might think would absolutely have nothing in common with you, but having a discussion with them, ended up benefiting my life, just with the exact information, and at the exact time I needed it! I'm telling you, you will be amazed at how communications with many life experiences can positively affect and improve your life! That is why I created The Earnest Mann Show, a place where we can talk about anything. From history, to current events, economics, politics and religion, to sex with space aliens, you name it, the topics for discussion are only as limited as our imagination, and your input, so leave a comment, because your opinion matters, in this big beautiful world we all share.
