How Alcohol Fuels Society's Dysfunction: Unmasking the Perpetual Drunk - Earnest Mann Show

The Hidden Impact of Perpetual Drunkenness in Our Society

Greetings, Earnest Mann here! Today, I want to share something deeply personal. We often overlook the far-reaching effects of alcohol consumption on our daily lives. Whether you realize it or not, we live in a society filled with perpetual drunks. Even if you’re only drinking a few times a week, it can still have a lingering impact on your judgment and behavior. The dysfunction and chaos you see around you might be more connected to this than you think.

The Lingering Effects of Alcohol: More Than Just a Hangover

When people drink heavily, especially over the weekend, the effects don't just disappear by Monday. That residual drunkenness can carry over for days, affecting how we interact with the world. This perpetual state of being "not all there" creates an underlying irritability and dysfunction that affects everything from personal relationships to professional interactions.

A Society of Perpetual Drunks: The Unseen Consequences

The reality is, we’re dealing with a society that is, to a significant extent, perpetually drunk. This isn't just about alcohol—it's compounded by other socially accepted substances like weed. The combination of these substances leads to a roller coaster of impaired judgment and heightened anxiety, which permeates every aspect of daily life. If you've ever wondered why people seem more irritable or crazy, especially around the weekend, this could be a big part of the answer.

Speaker:

if you work for a living why do you kill

Speaker:

yourself

Speaker:

working

Speaker:

greetings I want to talk about

Speaker:

something

Speaker:

[Music]

Speaker:

personal actually I want to let you

Speaker:

know that to one extent or

Speaker:

another most of the things that I talk

Speaker:

about are in fact

Speaker:

personal because it affects the way I

Speaker:

have to live in the

Speaker:

world and um the same thing I guess can

Speaker:

be said for yourself so I would

Speaker:

sincerely

Speaker:

appreciate if you would

Speaker:

appreciate um that it does take a fair

Speaker:

bit of courage to get on something which

Speaker:

basically shows yourself to the entire

Speaker:

world

Speaker:

potentially week in and week

Speaker:

out um and you know it's a that's a

Speaker:

pretty big slice of vulnerability so

Speaker:

just please I just ask that you bear

Speaker:

that in mind and also if you would cut

Speaker:

me for um cut me some slack for being

Speaker:

you know intellectually honest because

Speaker:

you see where I'm coming from is kind of

Speaker:

like an ideological trap that I can't

Speaker:

say virtually anything it's kind of like

Speaker:

you know having having the [ __ ] duct

Speaker:

tape over your mouth because of woke and

Speaker:

all that so if I kick around words that

Speaker:

are you know going to upset your

Speaker:

porcelain [ __ ] sensibilities like

Speaker:

[ __ ] or [ __ ] face or you know a u a

Speaker:

bhf um if you know what that is um yeah

Speaker:

I I would totally understand if you went

Speaker:

somewhere else but if you want some

Speaker:

intellectual honesty and maybe what some

Speaker:

people would consider to be I don't know

Speaker:

this ancient old thing called

Speaker:

honesty if you're looking for some of

Speaker:

that this is your

Speaker:

place um so that's what uh that's what

Speaker:

I'm

Speaker:

offering and I hope um

Speaker:

I I hope that this something you can

Speaker:

relate to I want you to take this

Speaker:

seriously but not too seriously you know

Speaker:

you still have to laugh at this but what

Speaker:

I'm I'm about to get to and talk about

Speaker:

is along those lines and it's something

Speaker:

I deal with every day and as a matter of

Speaker:

fact whether you know it or

Speaker:

not it's probably something you deal

Speaker:

with as well okay so let me get right

Speaker:

around to

Speaker:

it as you should well know there is so

Speaker:

much

Speaker:

dysfunction and crazy going

Speaker:

on and I believe that I have a uh I have

Speaker:

an answer I I have an answer of

Speaker:

this state that we're in almost

Speaker:

universally in this country and

Speaker:

before you laugh at me just hear me out

Speaker:

that's all I'm asking look this even the

Speaker:

whole video [ __ ] it's only around 10

Speaker:

minutes so and

Speaker:

hopefully even if you don't take me

Speaker:

seriously you'll get a

Speaker:

laugh so that's what this is

Speaker:

about [ __ ] I mean it's free

Speaker:

entertainment

Speaker:

so but as far as I'm concerned and I am

Speaker:

totally serious about this you want to

Speaker:

know the primary reason why everything

Speaker:

is or or I won't say the entire reason

Speaker:

but I'm going to say a good part of it

Speaker:

okay

Speaker:

okay the reason why there is so just so

Speaker:

much friction and and and just [ __ ]

Speaker:

upness and Chaos

Speaker:

primarily

Speaker:

is everybody's [ __ ] drunk

Speaker:

now

Speaker:

there's several ways actually to be

Speaker:

drunk and a lot of people don't know

Speaker:

this but it really is and what I'm

Speaker:

postulating though is I'm talking

Speaker:

specifically about

Speaker:

alcohol now laugh go ahead laugh if

Speaker:

you're laughing mock me [ __ ] laugh

Speaker:

but hear me

Speaker:

out if you've ever been in a in your

Speaker:

life a Tavern Watering Hole whatever the

Speaker:

you call it where you come from you know

Speaker:

especially if you're not in the mood to

Speaker:

drink a lot or to be around a bunch of

Speaker:

people who are drinking a lot there it's

Speaker:

not pleasant it's fine if you're [ __ ]

Speaker:

drunk and you're with a bunch of other

Speaker:

drunks and W you know and you're just

Speaker:

being drunk together and you're [ __ ]

Speaker:

all

Speaker:

drunk not so much if you have to end the

Speaker:

drunks I don't know how bartenders do it

Speaker:

frankly but

Speaker:

anyhow um yeah not a lot of fun and then

Speaker:

if you have to if the cops are called

Speaker:

and you got to have the cops come in you

Speaker:

know then that's certainly not pleasant

Speaker:

for them and that's pretty much become a

Speaker:

pretty solid routine every weekend here

Speaker:

in America but here's a thing that most

Speaker:

people don't

Speaker:

realize you see just because that

Speaker:

happens on a front Friday night that

Speaker:

[ __ ] carries over depending on the

Speaker:

person depending on their age their

Speaker:

health depending on how much they drink

Speaker:

depend just depending there's a lot of

Speaker:

variables but that [ __ ] can carry on it

Speaker:

carries

Speaker:

over three say 3 to five days and that's

Speaker:

if that's if they don't even have one

Speaker:

beer or one other piece of alcohol in

Speaker:

between that time so

Speaker:

what I mean by this is that that person

Speaker:

who was at the bar of the club on a

Speaker:

Friday

Speaker:

night and they were an

Speaker:

[ __ ] and uh or at a house party or

Speaker:

what have you there's a pretty good

Speaker:

chance that even by Tuesday or Wednesday

Speaker:

the residual of that is still holding

Speaker:

on and it still makes them an [ __ ]

Speaker:

maybe not quite the level of un

Speaker:

uninhibited [ __ ] that they were at

Speaker:

Friday night's

Speaker:

party um usually it's the anxiety and uh

Speaker:

you know they're very very tense very on

Speaker:

edge uh you know

Speaker:

the because that's what the booze does

Speaker:

to you after you know 24 to 48 hours

Speaker:

you're just super sensitive most folks

Speaker:

know this to hearing and the sounds

Speaker:

everything's Amplified and it really is

Speaker:

just kind of like an ice piit going

Speaker:

through your [ __ ] head and you're

Speaker:

just super

Speaker:

irritable not pleasant to be

Speaker:

around also in addition to that you're

Speaker:

not exactly your your brain it's just

Speaker:

you're looking you're you're just you're

Speaker:

not there you're that's my point you're

Speaker:

not all

Speaker:

there

Speaker:

now it's one thing if that's a barroom

Speaker:

full of

Speaker:

people now imagine a

Speaker:

whole you know apartment complex a town

Speaker:

Village

Speaker:

City we can't get so many things

Speaker:

together on an even K because to one

Speaker:

extent or

Speaker:

another even if you only have a few

Speaker:

drinks say twice a

Speaker:

week you're you're still affected you're

Speaker:

judg

Speaker:

you're you're [ __ ] you're not normal

Speaker:

your brain is not all the way there you

Speaker:

would have to take

Speaker:

seriously to dry out your brain you

Speaker:

would need like a again depending on a

Speaker:

lot of factors you'd need a fullon week

Speaker:

of no booze none not one

Speaker:

none and if you can't do that

Speaker:

you know if you're having you tie a good

Speaker:

portion of drinking on a Friday in the

Speaker:

weekend and then you know Tuesday rolls

Speaker:

around okay you Cruise in the bar you

Speaker:

you know to knock back two or three

Speaker:

drinks or couple beers two three beers

Speaker:

at least

Speaker:

minimum you are in a state on a roller

Speaker:

coaster

Speaker:

state of Perpetual

Speaker:

drunkenness and

Speaker:

what we have what I'm what I'm

Speaker:

postulating to

Speaker:

you is that we have a society of

Speaker:

Perpetual drunks and that's just the

Speaker:

booze that's not the now

Speaker:

Ubi socially accepted use of of

Speaker:

weed which comboed with that okay that's

Speaker:

anyone's guess and I'm not you know I'm

Speaker:

not don't mean to be I'm not here to be

Speaker:

prescriptive or preachy I don't mean it

Speaker:

that way it's just the [ __ ] hilarity

Speaker:

if you think about it that from the time

Speaker:

you leave your door if you're someone

Speaker:

like

Speaker:

me that to one extent or another

Speaker:

especially as the coming closer to or

Speaker:

coming right off of the

Speaker:

weekend that exponentially the number of

Speaker:

crazy people they're they're they're

Speaker:

[ __ ]

Speaker:

everywhere you know you're dealing with

Speaker:

waiters waitresses whoever it is if they

Speaker:

seem just a bit abnormally um

Speaker:

irritable that there you go so

Speaker:

anyway I just wanted to share that I

Speaker:

wanted your

Speaker:

thoughts tell me what you

Speaker:

think um any any thoughts at all I take

Speaker:

them I'm I'm a cheap date I'm a cheap

Speaker:

I'm a cheap thought

Speaker:

[ __ ] pencil me

Speaker:

in I would

Speaker:

ask would you just please

Speaker:

consider

Speaker:

subscribing it would really help me

Speaker:

out and Hell buying me a cup of coffee

Speaker:

well that would ease my nerves and make

Speaker:

me calmer so that I don't feel like I

Speaker:

[ __ ] want to

Speaker:

drink until next Monday or

Speaker:

Friday if this ain't

About the Podcast

The Earnest Mann Show
A truly unique broadcast, Unabashedly celebrating unwokeness.
One of the many things I enjoy doing in life, is helping other people the best way I know how, by offering people a sanctuary of sanity in a world gone mad. I do this by offering a different perspective, a realist perspective on just about anything and everything. You see, I have found, that there can be amazing relevant connections in our everyday life, from very unlikely sources, meaning people that on the surface you might think would absolutely have nothing in common with you, but having a discussion with them, ended up benefiting my life, just with the exact information, and at the exact time I needed it! I'm telling you, you will be amazed at how communications with many life experiences can positively affect and improve your life! That is why I created The Earnest Mann Show, a place where we can talk about anything. From history, to current events, economics, politics and religion, to sex with space aliens, you name it, the topics for discussion are only as limited as our imagination, and your input, so leave a comment, because your opinion matters, in this big beautiful world we all share.
